今年の初夏に初めて旅したギリシャ。画像でしか見たことがなかったアクロポリスの丘に頑張って登ってきました。紀元前より存在する遺跡たちに囲まれた空間は、観光客たちを除けば、異次元の世界でした。そんな壮大な遺跡と丘から見えた可愛らしい木立たちを一緒に刺繍しました。
中央上に見えるゴールド色のボタンは、ギラギラ照りつける太陽。
刺繍を終わり、上のあたりが色的に形状的に足りない気がして、加えました。
左下には、木立ちに混じるお花のガラスは、パリでご活躍中のガラスアーティストMichi Suzukiさんによるもの。
その他、ヨーロッパアンティークビーズ、ヴィンテージボタン、淡水パール、天然石等を使用。
ブローチとして使用しないときには、お部屋の壁にインテリア収納してもいいでしょう。
